Benton County man, two children, injured in suspected DWI crash near Cole Camp

A Benton County man and two children are injured in a suspected DWI crash just north of their hometown.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Jeremiah Casdorph, 40, of Cole Camp, was headed south on Highway 65, near Route P, last night, when he ran off the side of the road.  Troopers say Casdorph’s car hit a ditch, became airborne and overturned before coming to rest on its top.

The Patrol says Casdorph was not wearing a seat belt and suffered serious injuries.  There were two children in the car, an 11-year-old boy and an eight-year-old girl.  The Patrol says they were wearing seat belts and suffered moderate injuries.  All three were taken to Bothwell Regional Hospital.

Casdorph was cited for driving while intoxicated, driving with a revoked license, failure to drive on the right half of the road and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
