A Camden County man, accused of a double murder two years ago in Dallas County, pleads guilty.
Billy Medley, 24, of Macks Creek, pleaded guilty Monday to killing Joe and Brandy Allen outside of their home in Tunas in September of 2018. Court records state the Allen’s likely caught Medley and a friend trying to steal their vehicles when they were shot and killed. Medley was captured about a week after the murders, hiding out in Oklahoma.
During yesterday’s court appearance, Medley pleaded guilty to nine charges, including two counts of second-degree murder. He’ll be sentenced September 14.
Meanwhile, Medley’s accomplice, Jeffery Stevenson, 24, also of Macks Creek, next appears in court in August to face his charges.
