A Camden County woman accused of hiding her son in an attic for five months will learn her fate early next year.
Aubrey Ferguson, 31, of Camdenton, pleaded guilty in Camden County Court last week to child abduction. She'll be sentenced in January.
Ferguson will also go to trial next year on the same charge out of Laclede County.
It was in August of 2018 when Ferguson refused to returner her six-year-old son to his father's house after scheduled visitation. The boy was found in January of this year, hidden in an attic crawl space of a Laclede County home where he was staying with his mother and her boyfriend, Woodrow Ziegler, 42, of Richland.
Ziegler is still facing charges in both Camden and Laclede Counties.
