City of Lake Ozark holds meeting with business owners in wake of deadly shooting

The City of Lake Ozark holds a meeting with business owners in the wake of a deadly shooting last week.

City leaders and police met with about 40 business owners and managers of establishments that have liquor licenses.  They discussed a number of issues, including motorcycle club and gang activity, reducing public intoxication and enforcing occupancy limits.

One man was killed and four people were injured when a fight broke out between rival motorcycle gangs at Casablanca on the Strip.  Several gun shots were fired.

The police chief asked if business owners really wanted to welcome motorcycle gangs into their establishments.  Bike Night, which typically occurs the third Thursday of the month during the summer, has been cancelled for the rest of the year.
