Columbia double shooting ruled attempted murder-suicide; juvenile located

Columbia Police are now calling a Friday morning shooting on Jacobs Place an attempted murder-suicide. 

When police arrived at the location, they found a female with a non-life threatening gunshot wound and a man with a life-threatening, self-inflicted gunshot wound.  The male, now identified as Deshawn Graves, 22, of Columbia, later died at the hospital. 

Police are asking anyone with information to please come forward.

Meanwhile, a juvenile who had been spotted on the street, in the vicinity of the shooting, has been located.  Police are only saying the girl is now safe with family in Jefferson City.  Police have still never clarified whether the two incidents are related.
