A Columbia man is arrested in Chicago, after a warrant is issued for his arrest for numerous child sex crimes.

James Bennett, 47, is charged with three counts of statutory sodomy, two counts of child molestation and two counts of sexual misconduct in Boone County.

Court records state the abuse spanned a year in a half, starting in January of 2014, and involved at least one victim under 12 years of age.
