Columbia man arrested on more invasion of privacy charges

A Columbia man is facing additional charges for allegedly trying to take pictures up women’s skirts at several stores around the city.

Ronald Dameron was charged with two counts of attempted invasion of privacy earlier this month.  He was already facing three similar charges for similar incidents reported as recently as last month.

The latest charges allege that Dameron followed a woman around the Hy-Vee on Nifong Boulevard in May and tried to take a picture up her skirt.  He’s accused of doing the same thing to a woman at JC Penney two weeks later.

Dameron was arraigned this week and pleaded not guilty.  He’s due back in court on July 28.
