Columbia police investigate shooting with injuries on W. Broadway

One person is injured during a shooting last night in Columbia.

Officers were called to the 2400 block of W. Broadway around 8:30 p.m. to investigate reports of shots fired.  When they arrived, they found a 25-year-old male with gunshot wounds.  Police report the man was alert and walking around when they arrived at the scene.  He was stabilized and taken to a local hospital.

Police report there were no further injuries or property damage, and they have no suspect information at this time.
