A southeast Missouri drug trafficker busted in Jefferson City earlier this year is sentenced to probation.
Willie Duckworth, 36, of Hayti, pleaded guilty yesterday to numerous charges, including drug trafficking and resisting arrest. He was sentenced to five years of supervised probation and ordered to serve 30 days in jail.
It was in April with JC Police were called to a home on Crest Drive where Duckworth refused to leave. By the time officers got there, he'd left. But they later spotted Duckworth driving and pulled him over at the Walgreens on Missouri Boulevard.
Duckworth attempted to run from officer but fell and was taken into custody. During a search, officers found almost a quarter pound of cocaine and an ounce of heroin in Duckworth's possession.
