The former Moniteau County prosecutor placed on probation last year for a hit-and-run has now lost his law license.

It was in the fall of 2014 when Shayne Healea, 40, of California, backed his truck into Addison's restaurant in downtown Columbia and fled the scene. Four people inside the building were injured.

Healea pled guilty last fall and was sentenced to two years of probation. He was also required to resign from his post as county prosecutor.

ABC 17 News reports he Missouri Supreme Court ruled earlier this week that Healea had violated rules of professional conduct, prompting them to revoke his law license indefinitely.

However, Healea can reapply for his license in six months.
