House keeps Missouri in Hyperloop race

The Missouri House votes to stay in the race for a hyperloop test track. Representatives Monday giving final passage to a bill sponsored by Callaway County State Representative Travis Fitzwater.

Fitzwater says all his bill does is define what a hyperloop is, and define how it is to be paid for.

17 states are in the running to win the one test track. Fitzwater says that decision will be made in the next few months. His idea has the backing of the University of Missouri. The Holts Summit Republican says widespread use of the technology is likely 20 years away
