If you donate blood, you could win a trip to the Super Bowl

If you donate blood to the American Red Cross this month, you could win tickets to the Super Bowl.  The Red Cross is teaming up with the NFL for National Blood Donor Month, and encouraging people to donate.  Regional Communications Manager Joe Zydlo says the blood supply is stable, but the need is always urgent.  And he says one group in particular is being targeted.

“And for those who’ve recovered from COVID-19, we really need you to come out, we have an emergency need for your plasma with the COVID-19 antibodies.”

Anyone who donates blood between now and January 31 will be entered into a drawing for two tickets to next year’s Super Bowl in Los Angeles.  And if you donate before January 20, you’ll also be entered into a drawing for the Big Game at Home Package, which includes a 65” TV and a $500 gift card.

You can find out where to donate by going to redcrossblood.org or by downloading the Red Cross Blood Donor app, which shows you the journey your blood takes, including where it ends up.
