A Jefferson City man with a criminal history involving drug distribution has been arrested for selling drugs out of two homes near the Goodwill store.

Mark Shannon, 42, was arrested Friday after Jefferson City's SWAT team served two search warrants at separate homes on Kenborg Hills Road.

The Jefferson City News Tribune reports officers found nearly nine pounds of marijuana, along with crack cocaine, meth, other drugs, and around $2,300.

Shannon's been charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance and one count of drug trafficking.

According to court records, he's being held without bond.
