A Jefferson City man is arrested in Boone County with a felony amount of drugs.
It was last Friday when an officer with the Ashland Police Department stopped Rivera Velasquez as he was driving on E. Broadway. During the stop, the officer developed probable cause to search Velasquez’s vehicle. The officer uncovered marijuana, cocaine, and ecstasy. The officer also learned there was an active warrant for Velasquez.
He’s facing two counts of possessing a controlled substance.
