A Saline County man gets off with probation after investigators intercept almost a pound of meth that was sent to his house.
Richard Buckner, 54, of Marshall was arrested last Spring after detectives discovered a suspicious package in Pettis County, that was headed to Buckner's address.
A search of the package turned up three-quarters of a pound of meth.
Additional meth, a handgun, and items that suggested Buckner was selling meth were found during a search of his home.
Buckner was sentenced Tuesday to five years supervised probation.
