A Laclede County woman and her unborn baby die while her toddler suffers critical injuries after attempting to cross a busy street in their hometown.
Lebanon Police Sergeant Kacie Springer explains the circumstances that led to the death of Mariah Taylor, 24, Saturday night.
"Mariah and her brother were walking across the street. Mariah was pushing a stroller with the one-year-old victim in it. A tow truck came eastbound on Highway-64. As it came over the hill, it observed the people walking in the road and was unable to avoid them."
Springer says Taylor's one-year-old daughter remains in critical condition today while her 18-year-old brother is listed in stable condition.
Taylor's family has created a Go Fund Me page to help with funeral and hospital costs.
