Missouri lawmaker wants to rename interstate after President Donald Trump

Representative Mary Elizabeth Coleman (District 97)

A state representative from eastern Missouri has filed a bill to name a stretch of interstate after President Donald Trump.

Republican Mary Elizabeth Coleman’s bill would rename the section of I-55 that goes through her hometown of Arnold after the president.

Coleman says the tribute is her way of thanking the president for making America great again.  She also offered praise to Missouri Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft for running a secure election and Senator Josh Hawley for giving Missouri’s Trump supporters a voice.
