MU Health Care Psychiatrist: Covid-19 changing social norms

Are you a hugger? Do you miss being able to shake a hand…slap somebody on the back…put your arm around a friend? MU Health Care psychiatrist, Dr. Laine Young-Walker psychologist says the Covid-19 virus will make us rethink some of our social norms.

Dr. Walker says the virus is making us think about how we greet people and let people knw we love them. It's changing the dynamics of how we deal with friends and family.

Walker says you can ease your worries about the virus by staying abreast of ways you can deal with the virus and it away from you and your loved ones.
