Oklahoma woman seriously injured in three-vehicle pileup in Laclede County

An Oklahoma woman is seriously injured in a three-vehicle pileup crash in Laclede County.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Shi Simmons, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, was headed west on I-44, about six miles west of Lebanon, yesterday, when she rear-ended a SUV that had slowed for traffic.  A third car overturned on the interstate.

Simmons was taken to a hospital in Springfield for treatment of her injuries.  The other drivers, Erik Hofstad, 34, of Chesterfield and Shawn Krencik, 46, of Aubrey, Texas, weren’t injured.
