Osage Beach drug bust nets 10 year sentence

Drugs seized during the bust.

A woman arrested with a pound of meth outside an Osage Beach hotel is sentenced.

Shannon Chiarini, 35, of Linn Creek, pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree drug trafficking.  She was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Chiarini and her accomplice, Brian Stogsdill, 43, of Mt. Vernon, were arrested last November at Osage Village Inn.  During a search of their room, officers found approximately a pound of meth, drug paraphernalia, and nine cell phones.

Stogsdill is scheduled for a January trial.
