A Pulaski County man, previously found guilty of voluntary manslaughter, is sentenced.
Ian Miller, 48, of Crocker, was sentenced on Monday to 12 years in prison for the 2018 shooting death of 23-year-old Lane Kennedy. At the time of his arrest, Miller told authorities he shot Kennedy during a confrontation at his house.
The judge ruled Miller would serve 120 days of shock incarceration. If he completes that successfully, he’ll be eligible for probation and avoids his prison sentence.
Pulaski County Prosecuting Attorney says he’s very disappointed in the sentence and will do what he can to legally stop Miller from getting probation.
