Recreational marijuana could wind up on 2022 ballot

You could soon see a proposal on the ballot that would allow the use of recreational marijuana in Missouri.

The group Fair Access Missouri wants to end the state’s prohibition on the plant and allow all Missourians over the age of 21 to use marijuana.  They have filed four initiative petitions with the Secretary of State’s office.  The group hopes to put a measure to legalize cannabis use on the 2022 ballot.

Missouri voters approved the use of medical marijuana in 2018.
