A Jefferson City man is now facing stiffer charges related to an incident of him exposing himself to a minor this summer.
Shane Steck, 41, was indicted by a grand jury last week on three counts of accessory to enticing a child and three counts of sexual misconduct involving a child. Court records show the incidents happened in late June and late July.
Steck was arrested the day after the July crime and charged with one count of sexual misconduct with a child. He was accused of exposing his genitals to a 10-year-old child inside the women’s restroom at Ellis Porter Riverside Park. Police say Steck, who’s a registered sex offender, admitted to the crime.
