$10,000 reward offered for information about SD woman murdered in Cooper Co

The family of a South Dakota woman murdered while driving through Mid-Missouri is now offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Melissa Peskey, 40, was driving on I-70 near Boonville last December when someone fired shots into her car, killing her.  Peskey's two young children in the back seat were uninjured.  The trio was headed to South Carolina to visit friends.

Peskey's family announced this morning that they'd collected $10,000 to offer as a cash reward.  They're urging anyone with any type of information that may be helpful to the investigation to reach out the Missouri State Highway Patrol at 573-751-1000.
