School threat in Miller Co

There's an increased police presence today at a Miller County school.

The superintendent of Iberia Public Schools announced yesterday that students had come forward with information about another student threatening mass violence at the high school.

Officials haven't elaborated on the threat or the person who made it, but say the student will not be allowed on school property until the investigation is complete.

According to social media posts, a number of parents opted to keep their children at home today, although it's not clear how many.
