A second person is now charged for a weekend assault in Jefferson City.
Tyler McClinton, 18, of Jefferson City, was charged yesterday with armed criminal action and first-degree assault causing serious injury. He's being held without bond.
It was Sunday afternoon when McClinton allegedly pulled a gun during an argument on East Miller Street, shooting a 20-year-old man. The victim was taken to a Columbia hospital with serious injuries.
Meanwhile, Alexus Munson, 21, of Tipton, was also charged yesterday. She's accused of stabbing her estranged husband multiple times Sunday afternoon on Cherry Street.
She claims she was acting in self defense.
The victim was also taken to a Columbia hospital.
There's no updates on the condition of either victim.
