A Sedalia man is arrested for running a suspected drug operation within 1,000 feet of a nearby park.

Aaron Kempf, 31, was taken into custody without incident early Monday morning at a house in the 300 block of North Heard Avenue.  During a search of Kempf’s room, officers found a large quantity of methamphetamine, prescription pills, marijuana, and US currency.  Police say they also found evidence indicating Kempf was involved in the distribution of the drugs.

He was arrested on numerous charges, including drug trafficking, distribution of a controlled substance, and possession of controlled substances.
