Things got a little rowdy this weekend at a Jefferson City carnival.

Police were called to the Capital Mall parking lot Friday night around 10 p.m. to investigate reports of a large fight near JoAnn’s Fabric.  During the fight, someone in the crowd fired several rounds into the air.

There were no reports of injuries or property damage.

Police say many people had left the scene by the time they arrived.  Officers are currently working to identify those involved.
