The state says it will not pursue further legal battles against Planned Parenthood.

It was last Thursday when the state issued the St. Louis facility a new license, following a yearlong legal battle.  The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports Governor Mike Parson’s administration says that by issuing the new license, the state made it clear it wasn’t interested in any further legal channels.

The St. Louis clinic came under review after the state received allegations that the facility had botched several abortions.  The state had refused to renew the clinic’s license to perform abortions, but several judges had intervened over the past year, allowing the procedures to continue on a temporary basis.
