Three teenagers were taken into custody for a fatal weekend shooting in Audrain County.
Mexico police were called to a location on Muldrow Street Friday night to check on a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they found Tajuan Williams, 27, of Mexico, alive, but suffering from a single gunshot wound. Authorities report Williams was able to identify his killers before succumbing to his injuries.
Police arrested three teenagers for the shooting. Dekhise Dorsey, 17, of Mexico, was booked on numerous charges including second-degree murder. His two 15-year-old accomplices were taken to juvenile detention centers.
No motive for the shooting has been released, but KRCG News reports both the victim and suspects were attending a child's birthday party when an argument erupted followed by the shooting.
