The City of Columbia embraces technology in an effort to better communicate with city residents.
The city announced on Tuesday that it was launching its new MyCOMO app to connect residents with a wide range of city information. The app provides information on topics such as city government, upcoming events, utility services, and more. Users can also receive notifications on specific events and chat with a customer service representative during business hours.
The city is launching a new mobile-responsive website later this year. City leaders say the MyCOMO mobile app and new website will provide residents with easy to use platforms that allow them to better engage with city staff and services.
The app is available from the Google Play or Apple Store. Or you can download it from the city website.
