A Hickory County man suffers serious injuries when he turns into the path of an oncoming truck in Laclede County. 

Thomas Owens, 49, of Weaubleau, was driving on Highway 64, six miles west of Lebanon, Monday morning around 11 when he made a left-hand turn in front of an oncoming pickup.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the two trucks struck head on. 

The other driver, Andrew Nichols, 34, of Lebanon, and his passenger, Adam Nichols, 28, of Lebanon, were taken to the Lebanon hospital with moderate injuries. 

The patrol reports all three men were wearing seat belts.
