Three Sedalia residents arrested after large amount of fentanyl is found in their home

The Sedalia Police Department arrests three adults after finding a large amount of drugs and firearms.

Officers served a search warrant on Wednesday at a home in the 600 block of E. 9th Street.  Before entering the home, officers saw a number of people in two cars parked out front.  During a search of the cars, officers uncovered loaded guns, high capacity magazines, drugs, and more than $2,200 in cash.  Police report several children were in both vehicles.

During a search of the house, officers found a large amount of fentanyl, marijuana, and ammunition.

Three adults were taken into custody, including 23-year-old Deontay Pearson-Daniels, 29-year-old Deandre Williams, and 28-year-old Teresa Pearson-Daniels.  They’re facing a multitude of charges, including drug trafficking and endangering the welfare of a child.
