Brant Shockley

A trial date is set for a Rolla-based attorney facing 22 counts of sexual assault.

A Phelps County judge Tuesday set a March 1st jury trial date for Brant Shockley, 33, of St. James.

Shockley was indicted in the Fall of 2018 on 18 counts of sexual assault, but four additional counts were later added.  The charges include 12 counts of rape and 10 counts of sodomy.

Prosecutors allege Shockley assaulted at least four different women at both his home and county offices between 2012 and 2018.
