Sedalia Police shut down a suspected meth distribution operation.

Officers, working with the Crime Resolution Unit, served a search warrant Tuesday afternoon at a home in the 1300 block of S. Lamine Avenue.  As investigators spoke to a resident at the front door, they spotted a man exiting a second story window onto the roof.  When officers attempted to get the man down, he ran across the roof and jumped to the ground, injuring himself.

The man, identified as Cameron Williams, 24, was taken into custody after officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in his possession.  He was also taken to a local hospital for treatment of his injuries.

A second person in the home, Tara Dillon, 38, was also arrested on drug charges.

Investigators report they found a large amount of meth and marijuana in the home, along with two handguns, one that was later determined to be stolen out of St. Louis.

The house was also deemed a public nuisance.  The property owner has 60 days to resolve the issues.
