Two men are now in custody for a shooting yesterday on Jefferson City's east side.

Jefferson City Police Lieutenant David Williams confirms Rimolli Wease, 49, of Jefferson City, and Najee Jones, 27, of Jefferson City, are both facing charges related to yesterday's incident on W. Dunklin Street just across from Hawthorn Bank.

Wease is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and assault, while Jones is charged with unlawful use of a weapon.

Williams says when they first began investigating the shooting, Wease appeared to be the victim but further investigation revealed he was a suspect as well.
